Memory Storage Devices of Computer and its Different Forms

There are different memory storage devices of a computer. They differ  from one another and their function is different.

In computers the internal memory space is always provided in the form of RAM. The RAM memory sticks which may be at the maximum of few GB space are never sufficient enough to meet all the memory requirements of the computer. More over the RAM modules are always the temporary memories that means when ever the power supply to the computer is shut down, the data available in RAMs also vanishes. There fore to store the data information permanently and to also meet the processing requirements of the CPU, external storage devices are needed.
