However many times we tend to forget this important factor and our blog takes a reasonable amount of time many times few months to appear in the search results. Blog Title should be put along with a description at Dashboard > Settings > Basic.

Post Title:

When you go for writing an article, you choose the option ‘Posts’ from your dashboard. On clicking on ‘Create New Post’ option, you are presented with an option to write the Post Title. You can type the Post title here which must include the keywords. Keyword placement in the title of the post is mandatory for its ranking.

Description:

Description part contains the keywords. In a blog, there are Blog Description, Post Description, and the Meta Description parts.

You can access the Blog Description by following the path Dashboard > Settings > Basic, Post Description by following the path Dashboard > Posts > Create New Post (Post Editor) > Post Settings > Search Description and Meta Description can be written directly in the template of the site below <head> tag.

Keyword placement in the meta description is an essential activity while writing a blog post.

Article:

Within the article itself, one may put keywords using h2, h3 tags. But remember not to overuse the Keyword Placement because Google does not like overuse of keywords.

Links:

In an article, you may use keywords at internal or external links for a better SEO ranking.
